If you have kids, siblings, nieces and nephews or if you are babysitting on a Friday night, then you are probably in desperate need of a few tips. I often have to babysit my niece/nephews and as much as i love those tiny humans, it can become very stressful. Also, if you know beforehand that you are going to babysit, you might want to draft a plan. Yes. A plan. Children need to be entertained at all times and the more you prepare yourself, the easier the task.
1. Try as hard as you can to hide your anger, irritation and whatsoever.
Showing tiny humans that you are not pleased with them or that you are exasperated can be dangerous ! Yes dangerous ! It's a trigger. These cute little things can turn your house/ room upside down and make an absolute mess. I have come to notice that the more annoyed I get, the more they try to irritate me. So, BE PATIENT !
Of course, do not give them salad or broccoli or vegetables - unless you are smart enough to con them into eating those. Give them pudding or cupcakes or healthy snacks (this one does not work for me). This will keep them busy..for a while at least.

2. Give them food.

3. Colouring books
The thing about tiny humans is that they get bored much more easily than big fat humans. You need to keep them entertained and colouring books are a great option. Get an assortment of colouring pencils and you have a child-friendly party ! You could try water colour if they are old enough. You might want to cover your table top with newspapers or plastic to avoid the mess.Kids love Elsa !
4. Good old Disney
Disney movies never fail, especially FROZEN!! Put the movie on and give them snacks when they start getting bored. If you are lucky enough, they might even fall asleep during the movie.
5. DANCE PARTY
Put on the One Direction ( Best Song Ever usually works for me), Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift ( Shake it Off) songs and have a blast.
6. Play with them
As simple as that, just play with them. If you are at their place then wake up your inner - Legos, play dough and dolls, cars, trucks,hatever. Though, these days kids usually have ipads and that can keep them engaged for quite a while.
If you love kids, then you babysitting is not usually a challenge. If you do not, well I hope coming across this blog helped. I for sure am going to refer back to my own post XD
Desperate times call for desperate measures. Do not Judge.
